Septic Pumping
Study Phase 5 of the Township septic pumping is underway, residents in this phase will be getting their notification for scheduling very shortly. Upon receipt of said notice, residents should call to make their appointment for pumping.
By way of an update, Phase 1 through 4 have been completed and we are on our last year of Study Phase. (meaning free pumping from the Township in your study year only)
Township is now into the maintenance Phases. There are 3 Phases of Maintenance you will receive a letter in the mail when it’s your year to pump and inspect your Septic System. This letter will also explain the reimbursement program and your eligibility. If you have questions about the program or your phase please contact the Township Office.
Please be aware that the pumping and certification of septic systems that the Township has undertaken is the result of a Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Act of Law (Act 537) and is required.
